The film also includes contributions from his son Ian Whittle, test pilot Captain Eric Brown RN and Hans von Ohain – and is richly illustrated with rare wartime colour archive of Britain's first jet planes. This film is a feature-length version of the documentary originally made by Quanta for The History Channel.
